SmallRig 2229 Cage for Fujifilm X-T2 and X-T3 Cameras

This SmallRig Cage for Fujifilm X-T2 and X-T3 Cameras is a formfitting aluminum alloy cage that protects your camera from the rigors of daily production life without impeding access to your camera's functions, displays, ports, or battery. The camera mounts onto the cage via a 1/4"-20 screw, and the mounting surface features anti-slip pads which, in conjunction with the front plate, hold your camera securely in the cage and prevent it from twisting. An integrated Arca-Swiss plate enables mounting on an Arca-Swiss-compatible tripod head without needing to use a camera plate.

An integrated cold shoe mount provides a convenient attachment point for articulating arms, external monitors, and other accessories. The cage incorporates multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes, plus an ARRI-style anti-twist mount and a NATO rail on the left. The bottom of the cage offers a 3/8"-16 and multiple 1/4"-20 threaded mounting holes to connect a camera plate for tripod mounting.

Anti-Twist Design

The cage features two grip pads on the camera mounting surface, and a low-rise front plate that prevents your camera from twisting in the cage.

Integrated Handgrip

A right-side handgrip is machined into the cage. It is formfitting to your camera and matches the handgrip on your camera's body. The edge of the handgrip has five 1/4"-20 threaded holes tapped into it.

Accessory Mounting Screw Holes

The cage incorporates twenty-one 1/4"-20 threaded mounting holes for attaching accessories. It also has five 3/8"-16 threaded mounting holes, three on top and two on the left side of the cage. One of the 3/8"-16 threaded holes on the left side features ARRI-style anti-twist divots to help keep your accessories from rotating when attached.

NATO Rails

The left-side NATO rail is built into the cage.

Cold Shoe

An integrated cold shoe allows for mounting accessories with a cold shoe mounting foot.
